ABOUT US

Mar Keller and Abby Lofberg - Co-Owners

With a Bachelors degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University, Mar is the mastermind behind Babes’ pies. He is a hospitality industry Jack-of-all-trades, having worked as a pastry chef, oyster shucker, bartender, sommelier, and restaurant manager in both fine dining and casual establishments in RI, CT, and NYC. At heart, he is a lover of the simple things - feeding his loved ones with a killer home-cooked meal or dessert. Mar’s baking style taps into his experience in elevated, sophisticated cuisine, combined with his love language of nurturing others to create a truly special experience for pie lovers everywhere.

Abby is Babes’s Project Manager and Taster-in-Chief. As Babes Pie Co. grows, her focus is to build relationships with local businesses and pie lovers in Rhode Island and neighboring states.

And then there’s their dog, Tulip, who’s just here for the good vibes.
